Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (ONGC), a ‘Maharatna’ PSU invited applications for recruitment to 138 posts at A-1, A-2 & W-1 level in various disciplines at the ONGC’s Hazira Plant, the largest Gas processing Plant in the Country. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through ONGC website from 30 July 2014 (1000 hours) till 22 August 2014 (1800 hours)

1. Assistant Technician (Production): 09 posts
Qualifications:  Diploma in Mechanical/ Chemical/ Petroleum Engineering.

2. Assistant Technician (Mechanical): 25 posts
Qualifications: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

3. Assistant Technician (Electrical): 22 posts
Qualifications: Diploma in Electrical Engineering and Certificate of competency as Electrical Supervisor.

4. Assistant Technician (Instrumentation): 04 posts
Qualifications: Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering.

5. TA Gd.III (Chemistry): 12 posts
Qualifications: Post Graduate Degree in Chemistry.

6. Assistant Technician (Electronics): 03 posts
Qualifications: Diploma in Electronics/ Telecom/ E&T Engineering OR M.Sc. in Physics with Electronics.

7. Assistant Technician (Boiler): 21 posts
Qualifications: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with Boiler Attendant Certificate.

8. Assistant Technician (Civil): 01 post
Qualifications: Diploma in Civil Engineering.
II. A-1 Level: 40 posts
Pay Scale: Rs.11000-24000
Maximum Age limit: 30 years

9. Junior Assistant Technician (Boiler): 28 posts
Qualifications: Matriculation with Science or equivalent and Boiler Attendants’ (Oil/ Gas Fired) Certificate.

10. Junior Assistant Technician (Electrical): 10 posts
Qualifications: Matriculation with Science or equivalent and Trade Certificate in Electrical Trade and Certificate of Competency as Electrical Supervisor.

11. Junior Assistant Technician (Production): 02 posts
Qualifications: Matriculation with Science and Trade Certificate in Fitting or Mechanic Trade of Diesel/ Instrumentation/ Turner/ Machining/ Tractor/ Motor Vehicle/ Welding/ Black Smithy/ Boiler Attendant/ Machinist Grinder.

III. W-1 Level: 1 post
Pay Scale: Rs.10000-18000
Maximum Age limit: 27 years

12. Health Care Attendant Grade-I: 01 post
Qualifications:  Matriculation or equivalent with First Aid certificate and Six months experience as Technician in ECG/ CSSD/ Plaster/ Anaesthesia.
[upper age limit is relax-able up to 3 years for OBC and by 5 years for SC/ ST category candidates.]
Selection Procedure: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the written test and Interview.
Eligible candidates will be required to appear for a written test and shortlisted successful candidates will be called for Interview. The Multiple choice Questions Objective Type written test for all levels will be conducted on same day -- tentatively 28 September 2014 and same time.
Registration/ Processing Charges: Non-refundable registration fee of Rs.300 (Rs.100 processing charges for SC/ ST/ PwD/ Ex-Serviceman candidates) is to be deposited in any SBI branch using the SBI Bank Challan available for download on ONGC website www.ongcindia.com.
The fee is to be deposited in ONGC Power Jyoti A/C Number 30827318409 of SBI, Tel Bhavan, Dehradun.
