Eligibility Criteria

General Duty Medical Officer

• Medical qualifications included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-lI of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and Registration as Medical Practitioner in west Bengal.
• One Year's practical training as House Staff in any Govt Hospital or other recognised Institution

Specialist

• Medical qualifications included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-Il of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and Registration as Medical Practitioner in west Bengal.
• One Years practical training as House Staff in any Govt. Hospital or other recognised Institution.
• Recognized Post-Graduate qualification respective specialty or equivalent qualifications.

Block Medical Officer of Health (Basic public health-cum-administrative Officer)

• Medical qualifications included in the First or Second Schedule or Pail-Il of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and Registration as Medical Practitioner in west Bengal.
• Preference will be given to Candidates who possess recognised Post Graduate Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Management and Hospital Administration
